    This is a replacement lamp to use in beside our sofa in a dark corner. It it a good size and the swing arm is a plus for reading from both the sofa and the chair on the other side of the lamp. It is attactive and even came with a nice lampshade. The only thing I dislike is where the pole pieces screw together. I would have liked it to be a little better connection and maybe have some kind of decorative covering to hide the connections and maybe boost the strength. All and all it is a really good buy for the price
