Comments about All Other Brands Cody Table Lamp:

I ordered this lamp thinking it was pretty and would go very nicely with the colors I am using in my bedroom. I received the lamp and although you don't need a college education to put it together, I still followed the simple directions. The lamp, no matter what I did, wouldn't tighten and it appeared the chord would just twist around and the part that tightens was stripped. The shade is poorly constructed with loose ends and you can see through the illumination extra fabric that was not cut off.
do yourself a favor and skip this one if you want to avoid total aggravation.
On a positive note...I called Hay Needle and they are giving me back my money instead of having me ship it back. I might try another one and see if this lamp was just a defect that slipped through quality control. This lamp is going to sold at my yard sale as is. Maybe someone wants it. I don't.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
