Just received my lamps today & they look great in our newly furnished family room. Very stylish & the perfect finishing touch. The one negative is they do not have a 3-way switch as described, this definitely influenced my purchase as I like that option. So with the 100 watt max bulb & the dark shade these lamps are more form than function. Like the looks enough to use overhead lighting when needed.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
